Move for Kids will be held on June 12, 2022 at Soldier Field Stadium Green, located at the corner of Waldron Drive and Special Olympics Drive. Exact time to be determined soon!

You can register as an individual or join or form a team. Move for Kids, presented by Hub Group, is free to all participants! Instead of a registration fee, we strongly encourage participants to focus on fundraising for our patients and families. Please note participants do not automatically receive a t-shirt. Adults need to fundraise $100 to receive an event t-shirt. Youth 17 and under need to fundraise $50 to receive an event t-shirt.

Now, more than ever, the dollars you raise are critical. Every dollar raised will benefit the hospital’s Access for Every Child Fund, ensuring that children have access to the healthcare they deserve. Your fundraising allows us to support families facing financial challenges, deliver care in underserved neighborhoods and realize our vision for a healthier future for every child.

• If they prefer to write a check, it can be made out to Lurie Children's Foundation

A donation form must be included with each check so the donor receives credit for the donation. Donation forms may be mailed to:

Yes, all donations in which goods or services are not received are 100% tax deductible.

The Foundation will send a gift receipt and acknowledgement letter to anyone who makes a donation on behalf of a Move for Kids participant.

First, check to see if your company has a matching gift program for health organizations. Our Matching Gifts tool can be helpful in determining which companies match donations. Complete a matching gift form (available from your company's Human Resources department) and send it in with your donation.

You track your fundraising efforts via the participant center. This tool allows you to log on and review your pledges any time of the day. When a donation is made online, it is processed automatically and added toward your fundraising goal. Donations made by check or money order will be processed and counted toward your total within 14 business days after it is received by Lurie Children's Foundation.

Yes, our Foundation finance team will add donations received in the mail to your fundraising page. Since we are working remotely, it could take two weeks after we receive the check for you to see the donation on your personal fundraising page. Thank you for your patience!

Participants can fundraise and earn incentives through June 30, 2022.
